Business Travel Requirements for a Bahamas Visa for Indian Citizens

  1. Visa May Not Be Required

    Visa exempt for a stay of up to 90 days. The traveller must:

    • Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with two blank visa pages
    • Hold proof of sufficient funds
    • Hold proof of onward/return airline tickets
    • Hold all documents required for the next destination
    • Confirm with their airline that boarding will be permitted without a visa
    • Hold a permanent residency or a valid visa from Canada, USA, UK, or any of the Schengen member states,

  2. Eligibility and Documentation

    The Government of Bahamas utilises an electronic visa issuance system which is the equivalent to a visa, but no stamp or label is placed in the passport.

    To be eligible the traveller must:

    • Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with one blank visa page
    • Hold proof of sufficient funds
    • Hold proof of onward/return flights
    • Hold proof of hotel reservation
    • Hold all documents required for the next destination

    • A copy of Police Report

    • A copy of the flight confirmation
    • A copy of previous visas to Bahamas (Only for multiple entry visas)
    • A copy of the Residence Permit of your country of residence (If applicable)
